The foundations of the modern truth and conspiracy movement were laid by John Todd, Fritz Springmeier, and William Cooper. We would not know what we know today if not for these men. They were the first among modern men to have put a face on the bogey man. They exposed and warned while we were all blissfully ignorant with the bread and circus of the 70's, 80's, and 90's.

John Todd, Fritz Springmeier, and William Cooper pioneered and spread this information in the modern public domain. There were some things that they got wrong, however, their work is absolutely paramount to all things that we know in the truth/conspiracy movement and also all that we cherish here on ATS.

These men worked at a time when the Internet was still in its developmental infancy. There were no reference blogs or easily accessible sites like Wikipedia or YouTube, nor were there any PDF archive sites. They mustered their information before the rise of the 'Information/Internet Age'. This in itself makes their information and missions awe-inspiring.

These men had their flaws; they were not perfect. Were any of them bad men? Were any of them set up to be silenced? Were any of them innocent?

This is not the point.
Character/Personal qualities aside, let us focus on their contributions to the conspiracy/truth movement.

John Todd Collins



John Todd Collins (1950-2007) was an occultist and public speaker. He had one foot in the church and one foot in the coven. His beliefs lead him to flip-flop between Christianity and the Craft. He says that his knowledge comes from his family's multi-generational affiliation with Witchcraft, and through his past charge as a High Priest of a Druidic Illuminati order. He later went on to become a Jesus' Name (Oneness Pentecostal) preacher.



During the late 60's and 70's, John Todd set out to expose the truth about the Rothschild Central Banking system, the Illuminati, Satanism, Luciferianism, Witchcraft, and behavioral programming through music. He also shed light on the associations and symbolism used by some Christian preachers such as Pat Robertson, Billy Graham, and Jerry Falwell which point towards their affiliation with the Occult and Illuminati.

In 1987, John Todd was arrested and charged with rape. He claims that he was "framed" for the crime. He says federal agents confiscated his research, his work, his writings, and his contact/affiliate documents, while never questioning him for the crime of rape which was brought against him. He spent 16 years incarcerated in a South Carolina prison. Upon his 2004 release, he spent the remainder of his life in the custody of The South Carolina Department of Mental Health where he died in The Behavioral Disorder Treatment Unit in 2007.

Was John Todds framed, drugged, and locked away? Was he a rapist? Charlatan? Compulsive Liar? Delusional?

One thing is for sure, some of his info was right on target:

"Look at your one-dollar bill. It says: "This New Order that began 1776"--That means not the 4th of July, but May 1st, 1776, the creation day of the Illuminati.

On the top of each pyramid you will see a capstone with an eye in it. The capstone is the Rothschild Family or Tribunal that rules the Illuminati, they were the creators of it. The eye is Lucifer, their god and their voice."

"The Trilateral Council is the Inner Council of the CFR, Council of Foreign Relations, which is the American name for the Illuminati. They are not there without full knowledge and they are handpicked by David Rockefeller, the leader of the Illuminati in the United States."

"For over twelve years I have said that the goal of the United States government was to activate what is called Operation Garden Plot and its sub-plot Operation Cablesplice. Which was martial law, total military control over all police forces, governments, and so on.

I've said that in order to do that they wanted the populace out there to scream at the president that he wasn't doing his job of protecting them from acts of terrorism. And that they were willing to give up their constitutional rights. Now we have seen time and time again in order to stop the drug wars to, stop the drug dealers, and all the bloodshed that they are willing to give up Constitutional rights. People are willing to do it. People, when terrorism strikes, are willing to do it.

Now for years, the Illuminati have tried to have the Arab countries be so outraged that they would start terrorism in the United States on a great massive rate. And our country is more susceptible than any other country for the simple reason that we are not prepared for it. We don't believe it could happen to us."

Fritz Springmeier



Fritz Artz Springmeier (1955-Present) is a conspiracy theorists, author, and lecturer. During the 1980's and 1990's, Fritz launched a ministry to expose the Illuminati, NWO, Luciferianism, Satanism, and trauma-based mind control. He also exposed the Masonic foundations of The Jehovah's Witnesses.

Fritz is the one who gave us the organized information about the influential families and groups ATS discusses everyday:






Fritz helped publicize John Todd's testimony, and was also instrumental in bringing awareness to the testimonies of mind-control victims Cisco Wheeler, Cathy O'Brien, and Arizona Wilder. Fritz did a fantastic job of exposing trauma-based mind control and the deliberate creation of "alters" through Multiple Personality Disorder and Dissociative Identity Disorder.

In 2002, the United States District Court in Portland, Oregon indicted Fritz in connection with a 1997 armed bank robbery committed by another man named Forrest E. Bateman. In exchange for a shorter sentence, Forrest stated that Springmeier visited his home on the day of the robbery. However, Bateman and his other two co-defendants never named Fritz as an accomplice, nor did they speak about the robbery to Springmeier. Authorities gathered firearms, hand-grenades, C-4 explosives, and bomb making materials in raids on Bateman’s property and alleged a connection to Fritz Springmeier. In November of 2003, Fritz was sentenced to a little over 9 years imprisonment (111 months), and after 7 years was released on March 25, 2011.

Like John Todds, Fritz also insists upon his innocence and says the federal government set him up.

Milton William Cooper



Milton William (Bill) Cooper (1943-2001) was a former U.S. Naval Intelligence Officer, shortwave radio host, author, and lecturer. In the 1980's he began to give testimony of his UFO/USO sightings while in the U.S. military. Cooper meticulously explained the Mystery Schools, secret societies, Luciferianism, shadow government, and the NWO movement. He was an outspoken defender of the U.S. Constitution and advocated true freedom in the face of the dissolution of our rights and privacy.

William Cooper hosted his own radio broadcast called "The Hour Of The Time". His radio show wasn't a nationally syndicated program, nor did it have any major commercial backing, however, Cooper's whistle-blowing caught the ear of President Bill Clinton;

William Cooper created the Citizen's Agency for Joint Intelligence (CAJI), which was the world's largest civilian intelligence organization. CAJI researches, gathers, and catalogues evidence and proof of all topics covered by Cooper and 'The Hour Of The Time' broadcast. William Cooper's motto was to "prove everything with facts", and CAJI aided in that cause. CAJI sought to collect relevant information and offer it to the public.

William Cooper also created the VERITAS News Service, which served as a full-size newspaper covering issues not reported by the mainstream media.

William Cooper's most well-known book, 'Behold A Pale Horse', published in 1991, warned us of propaganda indoctrination, the NWO movement, the shadow government, the empowerment of FEMA through Presidential Executive Orders, the hidden tyranny of the Anti Drug-Abuse Act of 1988, engineered wars, false-flags, and more.

William Cooper predicted a false flag to be blamed on Osama bin Laden almost 3 months before 9/11:

June 28, 2001
“And now we’re being bombarded with messages that Osama bin Laden is planning to attack the United States of America and Israel. And I’m telling you, be prepared for a major attack, but it won’t be Osama bin Laden. It will be those behind the New World Order, who, once again, want to take the guns and the freedom away from the American people because we’re the only ones left in the world who can oppose the destruction of freedom in the world and the implementation of a one world totalitarian socialist government, and that is the goal.

Supposedly a CNN reporter found Osama bin Laden, took a television camera crew with him, went into Osama bin Laden’s hideout, interviewed him and his top leadership,… his top lieutenants and colonels and generals in their hideout. This is a CNN reporter with a camera crew. And he came out and told everybody, “Within three weeks Osama bin Laden is going to attack the United States and Israel.”

Now don’t you think that’s kind of strange folks?

You see, because the largest intelligence apparatus in the world with the biggest budget in the history of the world has been looking for Osama bin Laden for years and years and years and can’t find him. The F.B.I. also, under the leadership of Louis Freeh has been looking for Osama bin Laden for years and years and years and years and years and many years, and can’t find him. Some dufus jerk-off reporter with a camera crew waltzes right into his hideout and interviews him. And you know what his budget is? Zip, zilch, nothing!

Now that tells us two things. Either everyone in the intelligence community and all of the intelligence agencies of the United States government are blithering idiots and incompetent fools, including the entire apparatus of the F.B.I. and all of their personnel. Or they’re lying to us, they’re not looking for him at all. And the second is the truth.

You see, the C.I.A. created Osama bin Laden. They recruited him. They trained him. They found his leadership. They brought them all together. They showed them how to fight the Soviet Union in Afghanistan. And when that was all over they still continued to fund him, and train him, and they’re now using him to help bring about world government by making him the big boogey man.

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton targeted William Cooper in part of a wider scandal now known as 'Filegate'. Filegate was a Clinton administration scandal involving the improper use of confidential information and illegal investigations on political opponents. The Firstlady was also implicated in the scandal. Attorney Larry Elliot Klayman has stated; "Hillary Clinton was the mastermind of Filegate."

William Cooper was harassed by the IRS for unvalidated accusations of tax evasion and bank fraud. Despite the harassment, no proof was presented and no charges were ever filed against Cooper by the IRS.

Failing to secure an indictment from the IRS, another plot was enacted to silence Cooper immediately after his Osama bin Laden false-flag scapegoat prediction.

According to John Doyle Shamley (one of Cooper's partners and current head of 'Hour Of The Time' and 'CAJI');
Dr. Scott Hamlin, who was known to harass Cooper, was trespassing on Cooper's property. William Cooper confronted Hamlin and ordered him off of the property or police would be called. It is alleged that Hamlin then notified authorities and reported that a man followed him, threatened him, and waved a gun at him while on Cooper's property. The event was never proved to have occurred, nor was Cooper verified as the purported gun-brandishing aggressor. However, law enforcement officials charged Cooper with Aggravated Assault and two counts of endangerment in relation to the alleged event. Ironically, coincidentally, or suspiciously, an initial arrest warrant was to be served to Cooper on the day of September 11, 2001.

Less than 2 months after the 9/11 attacks and predicting Osama as a false flag scapegoat, Milton William Cooper was killed at his home by plain-clothed officers after a brief gunfight. According to the documentary "William Cooper & His Death", the circumstances surrounding his death all but cry foul play.

November 5, 2001
That evening the Apache County Sheriff's Department would come to Bill's home at 11:15pm fully armed to serve a warrant for his arrest. The local Eager Police Department was not notified until after Bill was killed.

Shortly before midnight on November 5, 2001, plain clothes officers in an unmarked pickup truck lured Cooper from his home by creating a noisy commotion. William Cooper went outside and confronted the trespassers, who never identified themselves, to get them to leave the area. Upon heading back to his home, Cooper was almost plowed and ran off the road by another unmarked police vehicle. By the time Cooper neared his home, a third encounter with another deputy occurred when:

"At that point Sergeant Brown saw Cooper extend his right arm out of the driver's side open window as if he were surrendering."

Milton William Cooper was gunned down and killed in his front yard after authorities state that Cooper opened fire on them, shooting Deputy Robert Martinez in the head. John Doyel Shamley has illustrated how the orientation of Cooper's home and the trajectory of a bullet hole in a parked '58 Chevy made it impossible for Cooper to have shot Deputy Martinez.

Professor of Philosophy at the University of Edinburg, first General Secretary to the Royal Society of Edinburgh (1783–98), article contributor of the 1797 Edition of the Encyclopedia Britannica, physicist, mathematician, author, and inventor from Scotland.

William Guy Carr was an author and Canadian Naval Officer during the first and second World Wars. Gary Allen was an American journalist, author, and member of the John Birch Society. In 1972, Gary Allen co-authored, with Larry Abraham, the book 'None Dare Call It Conspiracy'. Gary Allen reveals the NWO mechanisms of economic slavery through taxation, the Central Banking system, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the Trilateral Commission.

Sherman was instrumental in the resignations of Illinois Supreme Court Justices Roy J. Solfisburg Jr. and Ray Klingbiel for corruption and bribes.

I saw Cooper speak live, have a few VHS copies of him and read BaPH a few times.
I supportted him on many things but people keep throwing out there that he predicted 9/11 and he did not.

"He reported on an interview Peter Arnett did with Bin Laden and b/c he had no clue who Arnett was he just supposed that Arnett "walked around Afghanistan with a Camera and walked in on Bin Laden" -... Cooper did not know that Arnett was the first Western Journalist to interview BIn Laden in the 90's and that he had contacts to OBL ever since that time, he was often given AQ comminuqués and stuff, and in 2001 went for the famous interview. SO IT WAS NOT LIKE COOPER PUT IT: ARNETT DIDN'T SEARCH AND FIND BIN LADEN; ARNETT HAD AQ CONTACTS WHO PUT HIM IN TOUCH WITH OBL..... So stop confusing things.
Cooper found it so fishy that a western journalist could "find/locate" OBL that he went off on some kind of unspecific, "now with that, ladies and gentleman, prepare yourself for an attack, somewhere, in the next few months, that will be blamed on OBL while it is our government whose going to do it."

Taking time out to compile all of this very much appreciated. William Cooper helped me start this journey of figuring out what's "REALLY" going on in this crazy world.

It's like a feeling of euphoria for me when I see and experience awareness and awakening on this level. With each passing day, things become even more clearer. Kudos to you and any others who support this effort and dedication towards putting this harsh reality in perspective.

I would add Myron Fagan and Dr. Peter Beter to the list. Beter I was not aware of until a few years ago but he was actively involved in conspiracy theory for a few decades and while his info is hit or miss it was ahead of its time and has been built upon. Great thread OP.

Thank you for the appreciation! I agree that the works of these men should be quintessential study for people that were not aware of the conspiracy and truth movement prior to the 90's.

Throughout the years of Cooper's work, many times he has went on record boldly and quickly to correct himself if he discovers that he has said anything inaccurate. I am unaware of Bill Cooper ever recanting, retracting, or changing his Osama scapegoat prediction.

According to The Hour Of The Time's website, there are 31 separate days of Cooper audio recordings after the June 28th statement. This includes coverage on the day of 9/11 and up until his death on November 5, 2001. He had sufficient time to back-track his prediction, and I am not aware that he ever did.

After the 9/11 attacks, Cooper repeatedly drew comparisons and correlations to the Oklahoma City Bombing, which he believed to be a massive cover-up and false-flag.

I would imagine if you mentioned Peter Arnett to Cooper, he would have rebutted you saying that the CIA would have known Peter Arnett to be a past bin Laden affiliate, and would have noticed his preparations and journey to interview bin Laden.

Cooper's September 18, 2001 'Hour Of The Time' broadcast actually reinforces and defends his June 28, 2001 Osama scapegoat prediction:

Additionally, in this broadcast, Cooper goes on to put together all of the links of this real-life conspiracy just 7 days after the 9/11 attacks.

Milton William Cooper was the first to put the pieces together to layout a historically factual thesis of a 9/11 conspiracy centering around the CIA, Bush Family, and Osama as a scapegoat.

In this critical broadcast on September 18, 2001, William Cooper first describes George Herbert Walker Bush's role in the C.I.A. to infiltrate and weaponize Islam through the creation of Al-Qaeda.

Using J. H. Hatfield's book 'Fortunate Son' as reference, Cooper correlates and links George W. Bush Jr. to the Saudis and bin Laden family by the hidden link of James R. Bath.

James R. Bath worked for the CIA and served as a business representative and frontman investor for Salem bin Laden (Osama bin Laden's brother), Khalid bin Mahfouz, and Ghaith Pharaon. James Bath funneled the Saudi's money for their American interests.

James R. Bath was a former director of the Bank of Credit & Commerce International (BCCI), which was a Saudi bank front for international and covert illegalities. The BCCI was discovered to have operated in covert intelligence work, drug and money laundering, intimidated witnesses and law enforcement authorities, engaged in extortion and blackmail, supplied the financing for illegal arms trafficking and global terrorism, financed and facilitated income tax evasion, smuggling and prostitution. U.S. District Attorney Robert Morgenthau described BCCI's covert corruption as, ""the largest bank fraud in world financial history."

James R. Bath was also the president and sole director of 'Skyway Aircraft Leasing Limited', formerly known as 'Cotopax Investments'. Khalid bin Mahfouz was also listed as this company's owner. This was a CIA and Saudi aviation front that supplied aircraft and services for covert and international operations.

Finally, James R. Bath invested $50,000 in George W. Bush Jr.'s fledgling company 'Arbusto Energy'. This money also came from his Saudi financiers Khalid bin Mahfouz and Salem bin Laden.

After looking in to the "Vialls-Menashe" conspiracy, all articles and conspiracies either fully quote or are based upon the primary source of the allegation from a man, alias, or no de plume known as "The Most Holy Reverend Jacob Judicial" from the website judicial-inc.biz.

Henry Makow, Canadian author and conspiracy theorist, has stated, "Joe Vialls was most definitely not Ari Ben Menashe," in an article on his website: Update on Vialls.

I do not have an opinion in regards to the "Vialls-Menashe" conspiracy without further proof or evidence. As far as it stands, its a matter of Henry Makow's word versus Reverend Jacob Judicial.



There are many disinfo, misinfo, and propaganda agents out there. They will give lots of factual data and proof, however, they will throw in the most minor of error in order to pursuade you or cause you to draw a certain conclusion. The best way to avoid such traps is to "believe nothing unless you can prove it". Think for yourself and research multiple views before drawing your conclusions. You can learn a lot from a good disinfo agent if you are able to verify all truth and disprove all agenda in their information.
